With so many elements to consider for this project the initial
planning meetings laid down the core components of the front-end and back-end functionality. As a team we formulated ideas to develop the user experience, focussing on user journeys, how the information would be consumed and how users would interpret and interact with the site. Inline with these factors we devised methods to manage and deliver solutions for the back-end development.

As with all projects, a fantastic user experience was vital for AskHerFriends. Working closely within our team and with AHF we devised user journeys that are functional and fit for purpose. We focussed closely on composition of information elements and their visual appeal. Due to the nature of the target audience and its very purpose we strived to create a site that both guys and girls would feel comfortable using.
Development

This project had two very clear project areas. A bespoke CMS and a functional appealing user experience driven front-end. Throughout the project we again worked closely with the AHF team to deliver a product that they would be proud to be owners of. On going solutions were implemented to streamline how the CMS interacted with the numerous databases and the front-end user experience. It was an allround great experience working with AHF, not only do they remain great to work with but the product itself was also stimulating to develop.
